Salhus Tricotagefabrik outside Bergen is one of the first textile factories in Norway, known for Icelanders and other garments with beautiful geometric patterns.
In the book Ruter og lus, traditional work shirts have been given new life as jumpers, jackets, dresses, interior knitwear and accessories. The garment feels both retro and modern at the same time, with graphic pattern knitting and a modern cut. The recipes are suitable for both young people and adults, and many have easy assembly with raglan folding.
The book is published by the Textile Industry Museum at Museumsforlaget.
