
Living Crafts: A tribute to the living crafts. preserving, passing on and developing our common intangible heritage is a book that seeks to convey and develop our common intangible heritage and the living craft.
The editors of this book, Hans-Jørgen Wallin Weihe and Eivind Falk, have invited project partners, craftsmen and the staff of the Norwegian Crafts Development (NHU) to contribute with articles about crafts and the process of gaining skills and knowledge in crafts. The reader of this book will meet such different traditional craftsmen as the blacksmith, the boat builder, the watchmaker and the maker of traditional folk costumes. In Living Crafts there are examples from some of the projects from NHU, the methodology and experiences of NHU.
