We start with a 10% discount in the online shop on the lovely alpaca scarves from the Textile Industry Museum. They are knitted on an old knitting machine in the museum, and are available in many beautiful colours.
At MUHO, we are concerned with active conservation and lively communication. At the Textile Industry Museum, you can join a tour of the former Salhus Tricotage factory (1859–1989) and learn more about clothing production in the factory. Feel the carded wool between your fingers, hear the machine noise, feel the smells in the old premises and see the machines in operation.
